Winston Churchill and the Quality Gates

It’s been since a while when I last wrote a post so I decided to share a pearl.

Yesterday evening I’ve been again listening to a Ted talk about Walkable cities. Jeff Speck quoted a famous sentence from Winston Churchill which I’ve immediately adopted to developers:

Developers can be counted on writing clean code after exhausting all the alternatives…

This is a good reason for introducing certain quality gates in your build process :)
